Amnesty International’s report on J&K is old trick to create the propaganda

Sachin Padha

I, personally, would like to dismiss the Amnesty International’s (AI) report on J&K entitled “Denied: Failures in accountability for human rights violations by security force personnel in Jammu and Kashmir” as mere conjecture and it is equally despicable.

The blather context in the Amnesty International’s (AI) report is aimed at making the Indians (who are not aware of J&K history) and rest of the world delude with the facts. As per the AI’s report they were ‘Armed Opposition Group’ who attacked Hindus in the valley in 1990s and not the terrorists. So, it is the morbid moronic mind of AI’s researcher while she/he was doing her/his research work. There is something about writing articles which are full of propaganda that inculcating a rush of crashing happiness inside the AI’s researchers’ nerves and this type of imbecile research make them to look like a lump in the eyes of the people of their own country.

When Amnesty International appoints Akar Patel as India head one should expect propaganda from him like he has been doing against Mr Modi when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Now that Mr Modi is at the helm, we can expect him and his stooges to become more strident, shrill and sordid in creating propaganda via their research work, reports, articles and blogs. These groups have always been present in one form or the other and will always jockey for political leverage. It doesn’t take a detective mind to discover that political hatred and the pursuit of pelf (for self or otherwise) are prioritized in the NGOs like AI at the cost of national interest.

Why is there no mention of ethnic cleansing in AI report? Oh, yes there are two lines about Kashmiri Pundits out of 72 pages report. The Indian government has to deal with these foreign funded NGOs who are creating propaganda by writing pernicious lie about Kashmir valley. The Government must shake these NGOs out of a perpetual slumber of their negligent research. The collateral damages of AI’s historical escapades need an honest journalist/reporter/volunteer to advise them as to how to go about with R&D especially in the area which is emotionally attached to an entire India not only because of its natural beauty and snow clad mountains but of ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits. But I am sorry to say the NGOs like AI are earning their bread-butter from the Kashmir valley since 1990 by writing these kinds of scraped reports/articles/blogs.

So, according to AI report; precarious life of army jawans in Kashmir is very cool, calm and they are chilling out in the ‘Paradise on Earth’ i.e. Kashmir. They have been making the life of Kashmiri people hell since 1990. This is baneful lie and must be discarded as garbage. I must say these foreign funded NGOs are serious threat to our security and defense.

Does AI’s report try to explain this: Why AFSPA came into existence in the valley in 1990? The answer is no. If any researcher had gone little more deep into the history, he would have not come up with this propaganda. I think, AI doesn’t have any idea about Kashmir’s situation or they themselves have not gone into the depth of AFPSA act in the valley because of the commercial benefits and have joined the bandwagon. Unfortunately the obtuse AI researcher continues to ignore the fact and the tangible reason behind AFSPA’s existence. That’s why I have written the first line of my article that I would like to dismiss AI report as a mere conjecture.

These types of deranged maniac reports of AI and other human rights activist like of Arundhati Roy are not only creating the propaganda but emboldening the separatists groups that they are doing ‘Godly’ fight for the ‘azadi’ of Kashmir. If the government doesn’t take steps to curb these NGOs then I think there is no need for separatists to take help from Pakistan in the dissemination of their propaganda because these NGOs would be enough for them to bolster their confidence. These types of NGOs are enough to create the hostile environment in the Kashmir valley which was once famous for Bollywood and the Kashmiriyat.
